If you can fit it in the door, we can fix it.
Who We Are
Located at 73 rd and Dodge, we’ve been in the business of small appliance repair for more than twenty years. Our dedicated customer base keeps us moving fast and finding innovative ways to fix your appliance problems.
Myers is one of the few small appliance repair stores left in the Midwest. For us, fixing is more than just a job. It’s a way to further our ethos of sustainability. Repairing broken items is our small step towards a cleaner planet, and that’s why we enjoy doing what we do.
We do our best to fix any small electric that comes in the store, from antique lamps to kitchen mixers. We work on the more mechanical side, so we don’t fix electronic items like laptops or phones. If we can’t fix it, we do accept items for donations. We’ll recycle them and salvage the parts for future repairs. It’s the best way Myers can find to increase product lifetime and do our part to help reduce waste.
Beyond repairs, our talented team sharpens any type of blade. We customize clippers for many of the barbers and stylists. Being able to tap into our creative sides by customizing clippers or building lamps is some of our most satisfying work- check out some of our creations under Custom Projects.
Our History
Myers was started in the 1960s, under the guide of Tom Myers. Tom spent many years repairing small electronics, sharpening blades and repairing clippers for the barbers and stylists of the area. In 2015, the business closed for a short period of time, until it was purchased and reopened by Michael Shonka. Michael added a few members to the team and put the repair side of the business under the direction of Charlie Maynard. Charlie is our lead repair technician and shop manager. Through their hard work, these two people have enabled Myers to continue providing valuable services to the Omaha community.
